Orientation/Reorientation
orientation
During your final year at UFR STAPS, you can benefit from personalized advice on your study project.
- You can get in touch with the guidance counselors at your lycée.
- A team of information and advice officers from the SCUIO-IP of the University of Montpellier is at your disposal.
To help you choose your studies, C3D has set up anorientationquestionnaire. It is anonymous and non-binding. It is made available to you to help you think about your post-baccalaureate orientation.
Students in L1 STAPS who have not passed their 1 semester and are in difficulty in their 2 semesters are helped to reorient their studies or repeat the year.
- Stage 0: Publication of the results of the catch-up session
- Step 1: Make an appointment for a personal interview at the UFR STAPS reception desk (information will be sent to you in due course).
- Step 2: individual interview with a referent teacher ==> recommendation for or against repeating or reorientation
- Step 3: Registration of L1 repeaters
reorientation
The reorientation scheme only concerns students enrolled in 1st year at a higher education establishment who wish to change course between semester 1 and semester 2, if they realize that the course they are following does not correspond to their expectations and plans.
Any student in difficulty can benefit from an individual interview to discuss their personal project and training path, at key stages in their career (notably at the end of the first year of the Bachelor's degree, at the end of the third year of the Bachelor's degree, and at the end of the first year of the Master's degree). These students are identified by active orientation managers, and invited for interviews. Attendance at these interviews is compulsory.
