Student employee status is granted to students who are employed during the academic year. The conditions for eligibility and the terms of application are set out in this document. You must apply for this status when you register, using the working student status application form. It is granted by the Teaching and Equivalence Committee after reviewing the student's file and project, and upon request submitted to the registrar's office.
Students with employee status are eligible for:
- Exemption from attendance for all classes. However, if their activities allow, they have the option of attending all classes as normal.
- The possibility of replacing Continuous Assessment (CC) with a Final Assessment (CT) exam, when their activities prevent them from attending all the classes that make up a course assessed by CC. The assessment methods must be specified in a learning contract for the year or for each semester, no later than seven days after receipt of the favorable decision. If the student does not respond, they will be considered as participating in the CC.

When enrolling at the University of Montpellier, athletes wishing to obtain high-level athlete status must, in order to benefit from the provisions described in the contract, apply online on the University of Montpellier websiteand submit the supporting documents, accompanied by the answers to the high-level athlete status application questionnaire.
When you are granted High-Level Athlete (HLA) status, the school will send you an educational contract to complete and return within 15 days.
Without this signed and validated educational agreement, you will not be able to benefit from the study and/or exam accommodations offered to SHN students.
