Beyond the breadth and diversity of the programs it offers, the UFR STAPS stands out for its dynamic, engaged, and supportive student community, which plays a vital role in the personal growth and success of every student.

This vitality is driven by the UFR’s many student organizations, which play a vital role in bringing the campus to life by organizing sporting, cultural, festive, and community-service events. Alongside student representatives, they also help represent and advocate for the interests of all students, with the goal of fostering high-quality learning conditions that respect each individual’s academic path and aspirations.

As Student Assistant Director, my role is to serve as a constant link between students, student organizations, the administration, and the various UFR bodies, such as the Management Council and the Advisory Committee. This role is based on listening, dialogue, and cooperation, with the goal of conveying students’ needs, proposals, and concerns, as well as supporting student-led initiatives and projects.

I am convinced that university life is built collectively. That is why I invite you to take an active part in the life of the department, to speak up, to share your ideas, and to get involved, in whatever way you see fit. Every contribution counts and helps to continuously improve our academic environment.

I am, of course, always available to listen to your concerns and would be delighted to work with you to advocate for your needs, support your initiatives, and, together, help enrich your academic experience at the STAPS Department of the University of Montpellier.
