Are you thinking about studying abroad as part of an exchange program? There are several options available to you:

Erasmus+ Studies


The Erasmus+ program allows students to study abroad at a partner university of the UFR STAPS in Europe. The study abroad program can last for one semester or one academic year. Students pay their tuition fees to the UFR STAPS and are exempt from tuition fees at the host university.

Eligibility Requirements

  • must be enrolled in the STAPS department,
  • have completed at least one year of graduate study (preference is given to exchange programs during the third year of a bachelor’s degree or the second year of a master’s degree, subject to approval by the academic advisor for the exchange year),
  • not have participated in a 12-month Erasmus+ study mobility program during the same academic cycle.
Cooperation Agreements

Under the terms of the cooperation agreements, students have the opportunity to study abroad at a UFR STAPS partner university outside Europe.

The exchange program can last for one semester or one academic year. Students pay their tuition fees to the UFR STAPS and are exempt from tuition fees at the host university.

Eligibility Requirements

  • must be enrolled in the STAPS department,
  • have completed at least one year of graduate study (preference is given to students in their third year of undergraduate studies and second year of graduate studies, subject to approval by the academic advisor for the following academic year),

Planning your move means taking the necessary steps at least one year before your actual departure.

Please note that Students enrolled in L1, L3 EM, DEUST, Licence Pro, and Master MEEF programs are not eligible for international exchange programs.

Are you interested instudying abroad during the 2026–2027 academic year?

To apply, you must:

Have a strong academic record dating back to your first year of undergraduate studies
– Be enrolled in your second year of undergraduate studies or first year of graduate studies (at the time of application)
– Be pursuing studies consistent with your program at the UFR STAPS at the University of Montpellier
