Going abroad to study

mobility programs

You are considering continuing your studies abroad as part of an exchange program. There are several options available to you:

erasmus+Studies


The Erasmus+ program allows students to study abroad at a partner university of the UFR STAPS in Europe. The exchange can last for one semester or one academic year. Students pay their tuition fees to the UFR STAPS and are exempt from paying tuition fees at the host university.

Eligibility requirements

  • be enrolled at the UFR STAPS,
  • have completed at least one year of higher education (mobility in L3 and M2 is preferred, subject to acceptance by the academic director of the mobility year),
  • not have benefited from a 12-month Erasmus+ study mobility program during the same academic cycle.
Cooperation agreements

Under the terms of cooperation agreements, students have the opportunity to study abroad at a partner university of the UFR STAPS outside Europe.

Mobility can take place over one semester or one academic year. Students pay their registration fees to the UFR STAPS and are exempt from fees at the host university.

Eligibility requirements

  • be enrolled at the UFR STAPS,
  • have completed at least one year of higher education (mobility is preferred in L3 and M2, subject to acceptance by the academic director for the year N+1),

Preparing for relocation involves anticipating the necessary steps at least one year before the actual departure date.

Please note that students enrolled in L1, L3 EM, DEUST, Licence Pro, and Master MEEF programs are not eligible for international mobility.

To apply, you must:

Have a good academic record since your first year of undergraduate studies
– Be enrolled in your second year of undergraduate studies or first year of master's studies (at the time of application)
– Pursue studies consistent with your training at the UFR STAPS at the University of Montpellier
