Doing an internship abroad

With the exception of students in the MEEF master’s program and the Licence PRO program, all students in the STAPS department can complete an internship abroad.

Please note: Students are responsible for finding their own internships.The Office of International Relations does not handle the logistics of students’ departure or settlement at their host institutions. Weare involved solely inthe funding ofyour internship abroad.

Apply for financial assistance for travel expenses related to an internship abroad

Terms and Conditions:

  • be enrolled in the STAPS Department
  • draw up an internship agreement between the STAPS Department and the host organization
  • The internship must be a required part of the student's curriculum
  • The mobility program must take place outside the country. International students participating in a mobility program in their home country are not eligible for mobility grants. The internship must last between 2 and 6 months. It cannot extend beyond August 31.

Please submit your complete application to the Office of International Relations or via email (staps-ri@umontpellier.fr). Your application should include:

For internships beginning between January and March: submit your applicationbyDecember. 

For internships beginning between April and June: applications must be submittedin February.

Depending on the funding awarded, the Office of International Relations will email you the steps you need to take. It is your responsibility to read the emails you receive.
