Going abroad for an internship

With the exception of students enrolled in the MEEF Master's program and the Licence PRO program, all students at the UFR STAPS can undertake an internship abroad.

Please note: students are responsible for finding their own internships.The International Relations Office does not manage the conditions of departure and installation of students in their host organizations. Weare only involved inthe financing ofyour internship abroad.

Apply for financial assistance for mobility for an internship abroad

Terms and conditions:

  • be enrolled in the UFR STAPS (Faculty of Sports Science)
  • Establish an internship agreement between the UFR STAPS and the host organization.
  • The internship must be mandatory in the student's curriculum.
  • Mobility must take place outside the national territory. Foreign students undertaking mobility in their country of origin will not be eligible for mobility grants. The internship must last from 2 months to a maximum of 6 months. It cannot exceed August 31.

Please submit your complete application to the International Relations Office, or by email (staps-ri@umontpellier.fr), including:

For internships beginning between January and March: submit your applicationbeforeDecember. 

For internships beginning between April and June: submit your applicationduringthe month of February.

Depending on the funding allocated, the International Relations Office will email you the steps to follow. It is your responsibility to read the emails that will be sent to you.
