Master MEEF-EPS

Master Métiers de l'Enseignement, de l'Education et de la Formation - Physical and Sports Education

The main aim of the MEEF-EPS master's program is to prepare students for the job of EPS teacher in secondary education. This master's degree is part of the "mastérisation" reform of the teaching profession. As such, it has three objectives:

  • Preparation for the competitive recruitment exam (CAPEPS), which students must sit in the first year of their Master's degree.
  • Professional training for future teachers
  • Training for and through research.

The training program enables students to master the tools for analyzing and evaluating educational and teaching contexts. It equips them with the skills they need to create conditions conducive to motor learning, to get participants involved and to contribute to their sports and physical education.

The Master MEEF-EPS is organized by the EPS department of the UFR STAPS, as part of the Institut National Supérieur du Professorat et de l'Education de l'Académie de Montpellier (INSPE).
