Training and Research Committee (CFR)
The Education and Research Committee (CFR) is the body that supports and guides the STAPS Faculty’s decisions regarding research, particularly as it relates to education. The CFR’s proposals must then be approved by the Management Council.
Chaired by the associate director for research, the CFR brings together faculty members (elected representatives), academic representatives, doctoral students (elected representatives), and external experts.
Its missions are:
To serve as a link between research and education;
To propose recruitment priorities;
To support research projects carried out within the UFR.

Committees for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The juries for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program are authorized to award applicants all or part of a degree by recognizing their professional experience. This makes it possible to have one’s experience and skills acquired outside of university recognized in order to obtain the corresponding degrees.
The first step in submitting an application for Recognition of Prior Learning is to contact the Joint Continuing Education Office at the University of Montpellier.

Active Guidance Committee
The Active Career Guidance Committee is responsible for assisting high school and college students with their career choices. - Informing high school students about educational opportunities in sports and physical activity careers
- Guidance for Students Who Have Failed at the End of an Academic Semester
- Student guidance at key stages of their academic journey (transition from L3 to M1, transition from M1 to M2)
