Message from Professor Angèle Chopard, Director of the STAPS Faculty – April 15, 2020
Dear students,
This week is a vacation week for you and your teachers, who have been instructed not to assign any work to you during this time. This gives you a little freedom, but also time to review for your exams. The lockdown period continues, for now until May 11, and we have confirmation that we will no longer be able to hold face-to-face classes at the faculty, which means that exams will have to be organized exclusively online. We are currently working on the changes we will be making to certain exam papers. As a rough guide, and pending a more precise schedule, the exams will take place between the end of May and the end of June. We will therefore get back to you as soon as possible with a detailed exam schedule for each course, showing the dates, times, and procedures for each exam.Physical education teachers will soon provide details on how specialised physical education and complementary physical education will be assessed. Tests will also be held to familiarise you with the remote exam procedures and to check that you have the technical capabilities to take these exams. In light of this situation, the entire management team would like to thank you in advance for your understanding, commitment and organisation. Kind regards,
Message from Professor Angèle Chopard, Director of the STAPS Faculty – April 21, 2020
Hello, everyone.
First of all, the management of the UFR STAPS hopes you are in good health.
As you now know, the health crisis means that we will no longer be able to hold face-to-face classes until the end of the academic year. Uncertainty remains regarding the conditions under which we will reopen. In order to avoid penalizing any of you and to protect everyone's health,we have decided to hold end-of-semester exams remotely, as well as any make-up exams, if necessary.
In this regard, a precise exam schedule will be provided to you at the end of April or early May at the latest, with times that cannot be changed regardless of your place of residence (Montpellier time).
You will also be invited totake a test lasting a few minutes a few days before the exams tocheck that the tools used are working properly. However, until then, it is your responsibility to ensurethat you have the necessary equipment and a reliable internet connection totake your exams.
If you encounter any difficulties, please let us know right away so that we can help you.
Some of you have already contacted us, and we will deal with your requests on a case-by-case basis.
Wishing you all the best of luck with your revision, take good care of yourselves.
Best regards.
