Tutoring

Teacher in charge of tutoring

Julien Lagarde, Senior Lecturer - HDR

What is tutoring?

Tutoring is a scheme for STAPS students who need help or have a special status (high-level sportsperson, etc.). It does not involve classes or tutorials like those taught at the faculty. Tutoring is the set of support activities carried out by STAPS students qualified as tutors, and designed to help students succeed in their studies. These actions can complement your personal work to help you understand key course concepts, learning methodologies, build revision sheets and prepare for exams and MCQs. These tutors work under the supervision of a teacher in charge (Dr. Julien LAGARDE).

How does it work?

It's a personal process: tutoring is not compulsory, and there's no commitment except to agree with a tutor on a way of working. It's a service offered by the UM and the UFR STAPS, with the sole aim of helping you succeed in your studies.
