Who is affected by the ParcourSup national platform?

Who is affected by the Ecandidat platform?

All students who can (or will be able to prove upon registration) that they have earned ECTS credits
at another university:
60 ECTS credits to enter the second year (l2 or DEUST 2)
120 ECTS credits to enter the third year (L3 or Lpro)
180 ECTS credits from a bachelor's degree + 60 ECTS credits from a master's 1 to enter a master's 2

I can't find the training course I'm looking for on Ecandidat. What should I do?

There are two databases on Ecandidat: you must check that you are on the correct database (refer to our web
)
A "red database" for selective applications such as the Professional Bachelor's Degree
A "blue database" for applications to enter a DEUST in the second year, a
bachelor's or master's degree in the second year, or a bachelor's degree in the third year.

Who is affected by the Monmaster platform?

All students who have earned (or are in the process of earning) 180 ECTS credits (Bachelor's degree) in a European degree program or who reside in Europe.

Who is the "Study in France" platform for?

All applicants who are non-European nationals residing outside Europe (online application for CEF countries or paper application).

What are the steps involved in applying for admission?

Create an account on the dedicated platform
Make a wish
Submit all supporting documents
The educational committees review applications in order to give their opinion.
Upon receipt of the commission's opinion, validate choice 1 and withdraw from the other favorable opinions.
Complete your administrative registration

I am enrolled at the UFR STAPS in Montpellier for the current academic year and would like to change my major next year. How do I do this?

An internal procedure at the UFR STAPS in Montpellier is offered to students in the spring for requests to change majors and/or sports specializations.

What does "application pending" mean on the Ecandidat platform?

"Pending" file means: awaiting supporting documents.

My application is still pending on Ecandidat, but I am unable to submit any further documents.

How can I be sure that my file has been forwarded to the teaching committee?

Status of the file: file forwarded

Is a favorable decision on an application for admission equivalent to enrollment?

(for the ParcourSup, Ecandidat, and Monmaster platforms)

NO.
If you have received a favorable opinion from an educational committee, you must confirm the opinion. This step reserves your place in the program concerned.

An OPI number will then be assigned (Opération Préalable à l'Inscription, or Pre-Enrollment Operation)
This number allows you to proceed with your administrative enrollment, which must be done online (see the administrative enrollment page).

I am applying but I don't have my annual results for the current year. What should I do?

The teaching committees will take into account documents from previous years and from the first semester of the current year.

When creating my account, I reversed my first and last names. What should I do?

Please report this as soon as possible to the admissions office so that it can be corrected and your OPI number remains valid.

Can I incorporate a fitness or physical therapy program?

If your application for admission is approved by the teaching committee, PASS candidates who have been accepted but failed the exam may apply for the second year of LAS STAPS or the second year of the STAPS Bachelor's degree with a physiotherapy option, BUT will only have one attempt at MMOPK.
A specific request must be made to staps-inscriptions@umontpellier.fr to join these courses.

How do I know if my application for admission is admissible?

We are not authorized to provide you with educational information about course content. For this, you can contact the program director.

I would like to resume my studies. Do I need to go through the admission procedures?

YES.
Regardless of your situation, you must have a favorable opinion on your application for admission in order to enroll.
If you are an employee, a job seeker, or have left university for more than two years, you are eligible for continuing education, which will cover your administrative enrollment fees.

Can I transfer my university file to join the UFR STAPS in Montpellier?

NO.
Approval of an admission request is mandatory BEFORE requesting a file transfer.

I can't download multiple documents. What should I do?

You must download several documents into a single file (using PDFCreator, for example) so that you can submit all the documents required for the review of your application.

I cannot provide documentation. How can I submit my request?

The requested documents are mandatory. If you are unable to provide them, you must explain why in a separate letter and attach this document to your file in place of the requested documents.

Can I send you additional documentation by email?

NO. The teaching committees will only consult the supporting documents submitted via the online platforms.

On the Monmaster platform, what does "sports certificate" mean?

Any document (registration certificate, participation in a sporting event, etc.) that can prove your sporting activity.
