I am currently enrolled in the STAPS department at the University of Montpellier, and I would like to change my major next year. How do I go about doing that?
An internal procedure at the Montpellier STAPS Department is available to students in the spring for requests to change their major and/or sports specialization.
What does “pending application” mean on the Ecandidat platform?
"Pending" file means: awaiting supporting documents.
My application is still pending on Ecandidat, but I can't submit any other documents.
This is a display issue on your screen.
You need to switch to full-screen mode on your computer so that the entire page displays, showing all the documents you need to submit.
How can I be sure that my application has been forwarded to the academic committee?
Case status: case forwarded
Is a favorable decision on an application for admission the same as enrollment?
(for the ParcourSup, Ecandidat, and Monmaster platforms)
NO.
If you have received a favorable recommendation from an academic committee, you must confirm that recommendation. This step reserves your spot in the program in question.
An OPI number will then be assigned (Pre-Enrollment Process)
This number allows you to complete your administrative registration, which must be done online (see the administrative registration page)
I'm applying, but I don't have my annual results for the current year. What should I do?
The academic committees will take into account documents from previous years and from the first semester of the current year.
When I created my account, I entered my first and last names in the wrong order. What should I do?
Please report this to the admissions office as soon as possible so they can correct it and ensure that your OPI number is valid.
Can I enroll in a fitness or physical therapy program?
If your admission application has been approved by the academic committee, PASS candidates who have “passed but failed” may apply for the second year of the LAS STAPS program or the second year of the STAPS Bachelor’s degree with a physical therapy track; HOWEVER, they will only have one attempt at the MMOPK program.
A specific request must be submitted to staps-inscriptions@umontpellier.fr to enroll in these programs.
How can I tell if my application for admission is valid?
We are not authorized to provide you with academic information regarding the course content. For this, please contact the academic director of the degree program.
I would like to resume my studies. Do the admission procedures apply to me?
YES.
Regardless of your situation, you must have a positive admission decision in order to enroll.
If you are an employee, a job seeker, or have been out of the university system for more than 2 years, you fall under the continuing education program, which will handle your administrative enrollment thereafter.
Can I transfer my academic records to enroll in the STAPS department at the University of Montpellier?
NO.
Approval of an application for admission is required BEFORE requesting a transfer of records.
I can't seem to download multiple documents. How do I do that?
You must combine multiple documents into a single file (using PDFCreator, for example) so that you can submit all the documents needed to review your case.
I don't have a document to support my request. How can I submit my request?
The requested documents are required. If you are unable to provide them, you must explain why in a separate, handwritten note and include this note with your application in place of the requested documents.
Can I send you additional documentation via email?
NO. The academic committees will review only the supporting documents submitted via the online platforms.
On the Monmaster platform, what does a “sports certificate” refer to?
Any document (proof of registration, proof of participation in a sporting event, etc.) that can verify your participation in sports.
