FAQ about admissions / applications to UFR STAPS Montpellier

New baccalaureate holder wishing to enter the 1st year of a
1st cycle course (Licence 1 or DEUST 1)

All students who can (or will be able to when registering) justify the ECTS acquired
in another university:
60 ECTS to enter a 2nd year (l2 or DEUST 2)
120 ECTS to enter a 3rd year (L3 or Lpro)
180 ECTS from Licence + 60 ECTS from Master 1 to enter Master 2

There are 2 bases on Ecandidat: you need to check that you are on the right base (refer to our
site)
A "red base" for selective applications such as the Licence professionnelle
A "blue base" for applications for admission to a DEUST in 2nd year, a
licence or a master in 2nd or a licence in 3rd year.

All students who have validated (or are in the process of validating) 180 ECTS (L3 validation) in a
European curriculum or who live in Europe.

All applicants of non-European nationality living outside Europe (online application for
CEF countries or paper application).

5. On receipt of the commission's opinion, validate choice 1 and withdraw the other favorable opinions.
6. Administrative registration

An internal procedure at the Montpellier UFR STAPS is offered to students in the spring for requests to change their sports specialization.

Dossier "en attente" means: waiting for supporting documents.

If you receive a favorable recommendation from a pedagogical committee, you must confirm the recommendation. This step reserves your place in the course concerned.

An OPI number will then be allocated (Opération Préalable à l'Inscription)
This enables you to proceed with your administrative registration, which is compulsory online (see administrative registration page).

Pedagogical commissions will take into account documents from previous years and from the 1st semester of the current year.

Please report this as soon as possible to the admissions office for correction so that your OPI number is valid.

If your application is accepted by the pedagogical committee, PASS "pass/fail" candidates can apply for the 2nd year LAS STAPS or the 2nd year Licence STAPS kiné option BUT will only have one attempt at the MMOPK.

If you are employed or unemployed, or if you have been out of university for more than 2 years, you are covered by the continuing education system, which will subsequently take care of your administrative registration.

A positive decision on an application for admission is mandatory BEFORE requesting a file transfer.

You need to upload several documents in a single file (via PDFCreator, for example) so that you can submit all the documents you need to study your application.

The documents requested are mandatory. If you are unable to provide them, you must explain this on a separate sheet of paper and attach it to your application instead of the requested documents.

NO. Pedagogical committees will only consult supporting documents submitted via the online platforms.

Any document (registration certificate, participation in a sporting event, etc.) that can justify your sporting activity.
