Conference/debate: Dance in PES

The Education and Motricity department of Montpellier's UFR STAPS, in partnership with the university's art and culture department, invite you to attend a round-table discussion on the exciting (but thorny) question of the place of Dance in PES.
Carole Sève (Inspectrice Générale de l'Education Nationale en EPS), Sandrine Rey-Pouget (teacher coordinator for art-dance in the academy), Jackie Taffanel (artist-choreographer and teacher), Sylvain Ferez (teacher-researcher) and the choreographers/dancers of Compagnie Sauf Le Dimanche (Emilie Buestel and Marie Doiret) will help us to better understand the challenges of this teaching method, the obstacles encountered in the field, and to envisage ways of encouraging this practice in schools.
