Our Partners

3 Types of Possible Partnerships

The UFR STAPS' Educational Partners

They bring together organizations in the sports, education, socio-professional, and healthcare sectors (associations, local governments, schools, sports companies, etc.). They offer students internship opportunities and apprenticeship contracts that allow them to put the skills they’ve acquired at the university into practice, gain hands-on experience, and gradually build their career plans.
These partnerships play a key role in students’ career transition by complementing their academic training with real-world experience, while allowing partner organizations to benefit from the interns’ academic skills.

Institutional Partners

The UFR STAPS’ institutional partners are primarily recognized sports federations, leagues, committees, and training organizations. Through partnership agreements and equivalency programs, these organizations enable students to earn federal certifications alongside their university studies. These partnerships promote dual academic and professional recognition, enhance students’ employability, and ensure alignment between university education and the requirements of the sports community.

Within the University of Montpellier, we also rely on key partnerships with the SCUIO-IP, which supports career guidance, professional integration, and connections with the socio-economic world, the CFA EnSup LR, a key player in the development of apprenticeships in higher education, as well as the continuing education department, an essential partner in the design and implementation of lifelong learning programs. These collaborations strengthen the coherence of our initiatives and contribute to the appeal and professionalization of our programs.

Business Partners

Our business and technical partners specialize in sports facility equipment and management. These include companies that supply training equipment (ergometers, strength training machines, field equipment, etc.) as well as service providers responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and, in some cases, bringing sports facilities (gyms, fields, specialized halls) up to code.
These partners play a key role in ensuring optimal conditions for practice, instruction, and safety for students and teachers.
