Les Foulées Solidaires
For the second year running, the CREPS is teaming up with the Maison des territoires du monde et de la solidarité internationale de Montpellier (MTMSI) for the 34th edition of the international solidarity fortnight.
The project, called "Les Foulées Solidaires", will take place on Saturday November 16. Its aim is to raise funds for a humanitarian cause. This year's theme is funding schools in Niger and Haiti.
The aim is to bring together 100 walkers and 100 runners over a 4-kilometer course through the streets of Montpellier, starting from the CREPS and finishing at the entrance to the Polygone, near Place de la Comédie.
There's no notion of performance: the course is run in a group, at a very moderate pace (around 3km/h for the walk and around 7/8 km/h for the run). The pelotons are supervised by a group of volunteers from the Montpellier Start Running association.
All types of audience are welcome, including pupils, students and parents.
However, we cannot guarantee that the route will be accessible to people with disabilities.
Participation is totally free, but we need to know the number of participants.
We invite you to register using the QR code available on the attached flyer and below. You can come with your family or friends on Saturday November 16, starting at 9:30 am at the CREPS in Montpellier.
The walk will start at 10.15am and the run at 10.45am.

At the end of the race, you can attend the launch of the Festival des Solidarités, featuring an eco-responsible Christmas market, a world cuisine food stall, community stands and artistic performances (fashion show, K-pop, swing, etc.).
