TOEIC 2026 – Faculty of Sports Science

The TOEIC allows you to assess your general and professional English level through a test recognized by various companies and to promote this level to employers.

The UFR STAPSoffers its students and UM students the opportunity to take the TOEIC test. The certificate obtained is valid for two years in the country where the test was taken.

The purpose of this certification is to enable students to showcase their language skills in order to gain access to certain courses (Master's degrees) and promote their professional integration. The test assesses English language proficiency (CEFR from A1 to C1).

The minimum level frequently required by companies and educational institutions is level B2 ( independent-advanced user),
TOEIC score of 785 points.

The TOEIC test is a two-hour multiple-choice test consisting of 200 questions divided into two sections:

  • Listening Section: The Listening Section assesses your level of comprehension of spoken English. It consists of four parts and includes 100 questions administered via CD. You will be asked to answer questions based on a variety of statements, questions, short conversations, and short speeches recorded in English.
    Total time: approximately 45 minutes.
  • Reading Section: The Reading Section consists of three parts to assess your level of comprehension of written English. You will read various documents and answer 100 questions based on the content of the documents provided at your own pace.
    Total time: 75 minutes.

Three sessions are scheduled:

Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

There are two formats for taking the test.

  1. ONLINE format: Student rate: €75 (check), registration form and photocopy of student card to be submitted to Ms. Véronique Parra's office at 1first floor of Building A of the UFR STAPS 15 days before the date of the session.
  2. PAPER format: Student rate: €70 (check), registration form and photocopy of student card to be submitted to Ms. Véronique Parra's office at 1floor floor of Building A of the UFR STAPS 15 days before the date of the session.

    Please come to the exam center (UFR STAPS SIS 700 AV DU PIC ST LOUP, 34090 MONTPELLIER, BUILDING A- AMPHI A) with your national ID card, student card, pencils (B or HB), and an eraser.

You can choose your dates and take the test online.

  • Technical requirements
    • Browser: latest version of Google Chrome.
    • PC or Mac with a webcam.
    • Required operating system: Microsoft Windows 8.1 or higher, or Mac OS X 10.11 or higher.
    • Phone requirements: minimum version iOS 8.0 or Android 4.1. Your phone must be connected to Wi-Fi.
    • Internet connection: we strongly recommend a wired connection for greater stability.

Audio system: You must use your computer's speakers. Headphones and earphones are not permitted and their use will result in your score being canceled.
