The STAPS Department is strengthening its international partnerships

A delegation of 32 student soccer players from the UFR STAPS, the Regional Technical Advisor (CTR) for the Occitanie region, three soccer instructors, the partnerships coordinator, and the Administrative Director of the UFR STAPS were welcomed in Chengdu and Beijing at the invitation of the Sichuan Department of Education’s Exchange Center.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss partnerships with the Beijing Institute of Technology, the teacher training colleges in Chengdu and Beijing, and the physical education departments at the universities in Chengdu and Beijing, both in terms of academic training for players and for coaches.

The discussions with our counterparts were extremely productive. The UFR STAPS Montpellier will, of course, remain in contact with them to continue and expand our collaboration.
