A Message from the Director
Welcome to the Department of Sports Science (UFR STAPS) at the University of Montpellier, one of the largest in France with over 2,200 students. Our department offers a diverse range of programs, including four Bachelor’s degree tracks, three Master’s degree tracks (including seven specialized tracks), two DEUSTs, one professional Bachelor’s degree, and numerous DU programs (university diplomas, each dedicated to the study of a specific and unique aspect).

Apprenticeship tax
The apprenticeship tax is a mandatory tax paid by companies each year.
It helps fund the expenses necessary for the development of technical and vocational education and apprenticeships. The tax amounts to 0.68% of the gross payroll calculated for the previous calendar year.
