English language certification

Legal frame of reference / Ministerial decree

In accordance with decree n°2020-398of April 3, 2020 and thedecree of April 3, 2020students enrolled in bachelor's degrees, professional bachelor's degrees and IUTs will be required to pass an English language certification in order to obtain their diploma.

Objectives

The aim of this certification is to enable students to enhance their language skills, thereby helping them to enter the job market. The test assesses a level of English (from A1 to C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR).

While no student can fail the test, it's in your interest to take it very seriously, so that you can make the most of your English skills for the future.

In practice

At UFR STAPS we are doing our utmost to ensure that every student can prepare for this exam, which will be held from May 16 to July 10 2022.

    1. This May-June 2022 period has been decided by the University of Montpellier for all components.
    2. Cost of certification: paid in full by the University.
    3. The exam is distance learning/entirely paperless

Tous les étudiants doivent absolument suivre les informations données par PeopleCert pour réaliser la certification d’anglais obligatoire. Attention pour ce connecter il faut absolument utiliser l’adresse mail de l’université (pas d’email personnel).
